Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky has signed a new, improved contract with the Premier League club, following a challenging first season.

The 23-year-old had a rollercoaster first full season with Spurs, memorably being substituted just 17 minutes into their Champions League last-16 tie at Atletico Madrid after conceding three goals.
However, after Roberto de Zerbi took over as Spurs manager, Kinsky played the final seven games of the Premier League season, helping the team avoid relegation.
Kinsky expressed his excitement about the future, stating:
"It's been a real journey to get here and a nice story already, and I'm looking forward to what lies ahead over the next months and years."
Tottenham signed Kinsky from Slavia Prague for approximately £12.5 million in January 2025, with a contract running until 2031.
In the match against Atletico in March, Kinsky made two critical errors early on, contributing to a 5-2 defeat. He was substituted by interim manager Igor Tudor and replaced by Guglielmo Vicario.
Former Premier League goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel commented on the situation, saying:
"Tudor has completely destroyed his career. I feel really sorry for him. When his name is mentioned in the future, the whole world will remember this moment."
Kinsky may now start the new season as the first-choice goalkeeper, especially with Vicario linked to a return to Italy and Inter Milan.
Tottenham boss De Zerbi praised Kinsky's performance, stating:
"Toni was outstanding over the final seven games of the season and a key part of what we achieved in that period. He has earned this new contract, not only with his performances but also his professionalism and desire to improve."
De Zerbi further emphasized the club's belief in Kinsky's potential, saying:
"We have huge belief in what Toni can become. He is still young, has enormous potential, and I know that Spurs is the perfect place for him to continue to develop into one of the best goalkeepers in Europe."
Spurs have not disclosed the length or terms of Kinsky's new deal.
