Itanagar, India Jul 14, 2026 ALN: ANINI, 13 Jul: An awareness camp under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) initiative was conducted at the Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) here in Dibang Valley district on Monday with the objective of creating awareness among students and faculty members on the protection, education, health, and overall well-being of children, particularly girl children.

The Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative was launched by the Government of India in 2015 to address the declining child sex ratio and promote the importance of educating and empowering girls.
