Doha, Qatar Jul 12, 2026 ALN: The Ministry of Transport (MOT) has advised owners and users of maritime vessels to temporarily suspend sailing and all maritime activities until further notice as part of precautionary safety measures.

For the sake of public safety, owners and users of maritime vessels, including leisure boats, fishing boats, jet skis, and all other types of maritime vessels, are advised to temporarily suspend sailing and all forms of maritime activity from the date of publication of this announcement until further notice.

Maritime vessels subject to international maritime conventions and operating in accordance with the regulations and procedures in place are exempted.
