Shillong, India Jul 22, 2026 ALN: The Lakadong Turmeric Integrated Development Mission was inaugurated on Monday by the Minister of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Jyotiraditya M Scindia, alongside Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma and Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Minister Timothy D Shira via video conference from New Delhi.

The project, with a budget of ₹175.45 crores, is a collaborative initiative between the DoNER/NEC Ministry and the Government of India’s Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Ministry.
