An official told the news agency that the accident occurred at around 2:30 pm when a tempo, bearing registration number JK06B-8096, met with an accident in Jatheli Mohalla, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Doda.
He said two persons died on the spot, while four others sustained injuries. The injured were immediately shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Doda for treatment.
The identities of the deceased and the injured are yet to be ascertained. The exact cause of the accident is also being investigated.
