In a social media post, Khandu praised the multi-agency rescue and relief efforts being carried out across the inundated regions. His message of support comes amid one of the most severe flood seasons Assam has experienced in recent years, highlighting the ongoing challenges that the state faces from monsoon flooding.

“My thoughts and prayers are with every family affected by the devastating floods in Assam.
